What a fabulous place! The atmosphere is simply sophisticated. The wait staff are very friendly, helpful & knowledgable about the extensive wine selection. It is an alright place as far as high-end restaurants go. I went there with my husband for lunch the food was good, but we expected much more flavor and it wasn't as good as other places we have been. We were just there for drinks and snacks after a Jack Singer event but I was impressed. Congrats Teatro, you've still got it! Teatro is located in the heart of Calgary near Epcor Centre and the Glenbow. Fairly pricey but a well designed menu with a number of interesting choices. Excellent service from a wait staff that clearly enjoy working there. Open Sunday evenings, unlike many downtown restaurants.

I have been to Teatro on two separate occasions. A wedding reception and a private romantic outing.

The wine selection is great and is easily paired with a expertly curated menu. The building is historic with great ambience and charm. The staff is friendly and provide AAA service.

Teatro is part of the upper echelon of fine dining in Calgary, you will not be disappointed.

Tetaro's is a great experience - a good location for a romantic meal or one with friends. I've been here several times for special occasions and have never been disappointed. The service is always fantastic. On Sundays, you can bring your own wine which makes it a bit more economical.

Worst experience ever

Short Story: Don't go there.

Expecting the best of the best, I was up for a big fall. While the atmosphere was perfect, the food was cold and the waiter was barely around to take our order, which made the expense of the whole experience seem outrageous. While I am sure others have had fabulous meals, I will not be recommending the restaurant to anyone I know.

Teatro has wonderful atmosphere and a dying reputation as one of the city’s best restaurants. Our party of 4 went for dinner and chose the chef’s large tasting menu and wine for $800.00 before tip. At that price I do expect the food to be excellent and with each course the diner awaits in anticipation for something that wows the senses not disappoints the senses.
