Yep. Ed Hardy, Hello Kitty and Yamamoto do make frequent appearances during an average night, but who cares? We're here for the sake. Backlit LCD walls resemble Japanese pagodas in moonlight, while the mocha coloured wooden tables display Japanese diligence. Smart menu, clean surfaces and friendly staffers keeps Granville Street tourists and singles that want to mingle keep coming back.

Always a Treat
August 09, 2014This review comes after my 6th visit to this fine Japanese restaurant. The Tuna Tartare was excellent as was the Volcano Sushi Roll. The taste and presentation suggests a high end restaurant yet the prices are affordable. The restaurant charges for the tea but the pot is refilled. All-in-all, this isa high recommendation. Excellent Japanese food!

August 08, 2014Famished and tired, me and my mum found this place after a quick Trip Advisor search on our phones. So glad we did. Late night gem
August 08, 2014I checked this place out after work. High quality Japanese food beautifully presented. The assorted sashimi was fresh and well presented. The octopus umae was delicious,as was the ankimo(monk fish liver). A must try is the drink god of thunder. The only disappointment was that several items on the menu are no longer available.
