Visited this restaurant after several recommendations from locals. Great service, delicious food and nice atmosphere. Tried the Father's Day special and it was yummy! Waddled on the way out!

Italian kitchen is a good lunch restaurant, I ordered the chicken club sandwich and it was delicious, owner is friendly!

Today the globe and mail has a report on restaurant food. "Restaurant Food Is Too Salty." More than 20 percent of restaurant meals provide more than your daily allowance for sodium. If you want to taste the saltiest food in a Vernon eatery, go to The Italian Kitchen.
Also, if you want a 1/2 litre of just okay red wine for $40 ( the waitress' suggested 'great wine') then head here.

Ten of us had an amazing time. Great pasta (including gluten free). And we had awesome service (thx Trina & team).

A good place for lunch maybe not so much for dinner. Pretty quite atmosphere with decent food. I've definitely had better Italian food than this but it was just a quick lunch on the way to kelowna. The pasta proportions were very small so the prices were overpriced for what you get. The pasta itself was good. I don't think I would go back... Great food, superb service by our waitress combined with a cool kitchen view ambience

Great food and great service!

The food was excellent and had enough variety to please everyone at the table even the kids. The service was prompt and attentive to our needs. When we decided that bread would be a welcome addition to our meal it appeared within minutes.

My husband's chicken parmesan was delicious and for my entrée I ordered the Lamb shank which was beautifully done (melt in your mouth) and the vegetables were grilled perfectly (still slightly crispy). The only complaint I would have is that the risotto was pasty and the rice not quite cooked. We found the meals very good, nice presentation, very flavourful the music was to high to carry on a conversation, we asked to have the volume lowered and it was lowered slightly. As the evening progressed the air conditioning could not keep up and it should be looked into to keep the patrons comfortable while they dine.

Was okay

Service was good, friendly, fast and responsive. However we went one time before and this time found the food to be far less enjoyable than before. Appetizer (bruschetta) was just a large piece of cold bread with a little topping. Entries were acceptable. Doubtful will return.

Awesome food

The atmosphere was great and the food was superb. The family enjoyed it and we will return for another night out when we return to Vernon. This Albertan family will be letting other know about our experience.

I really like this restaurant! I have always had fantastic food here. Lots of options and always tastes great. Lots of vegetarian options. The decor is nice and I like the look inside. Service is ok can sometimes be a little slow but hasn't ever been bad. We really like to order for take out though!

Hmmm, glasses were dirty, service was great. Had beef strips w/mushrooms. Delicious. My husband tried the meatball sandwich and enjoyed it. I had an upset stomach after but I am not sure if it was from the food or not. I will try this place again, as the food was truly good.

For 5 years (as a local in Vernon) this has been on of my most favourite places to eat in Vernon and it had never failed... Until tonight. 2 out if 4 meal were wrong and one was almost inedible. However we have eaten here so many times when it's been some of the best food I have ever had, it's hard to not still love them.

One of our favourites. Great food. Lively atmosphere and good wine list. Not for a quiet dinner as the open kitchen is noisy but unique. Weekends require reservation.
