Ok car very bad experience
Went there to shop and ended up buying my first car. 2005 kia spectra. Was told it was 1 owner, always serviced there, they were going to include a free lifetime motor warranty and got what I felt was a good price for it.
Go for first check up: Get a call there's over 1000$ plus tax on maintenance to be done on the car! This was all maintenance that was supposed to have been done at 96 000k and I bought the car at 102000k under the impression that it had been kept up to date. I also find out that I can't even go do an oil change anywhere but that dealer if I want to keep the "free" motor warranty. This is after our salesman, Tony, whispered to my boyfriend that if he was us he would do the oil change himself.
So go to the dealership to see what's the deal (since nobody in the service department seems to know what this free motor warranty is about...). They offer no excuse, say they are within the law and to top it off Tony, the same salesman, actually asks my boyfriend if he is out of his mind when we remind him that he told us we could do the oil change ourselves. So frustrated we tell them we will never come back (even if we have to void the stupid "free" warranty) because of their horrible customer service. At the last minute Tony offers to try to make a deal with the service dep and says he will call me the next day.
Almost two weeks pass without a call. My boyfriend drops in to see if he can talk to someone. He is directed to Mustafa, which we agree seems very sketchy. He gets a quote of 700$+tax for the Timing belt (one of the things that needed to be done) with a great deal for 500$. The problem is the original quote was 500$ so I don't know who they are trying to fool! We get a call from Tony that evening (how convenient right after we went back AGAIN to the dealership). We ended up getting the work done and only paid for the parts 495 with tax (for three flushes, air filter and timing belt). Though even when I dropped off the car for the work they had forgotten two of the flushes and had the wrong price. The service manager rectified this but did not acknowledge my presence.
I despise this dealership for the poor customer service, all the time we had to waste there for unexpected maintenance and would not recommend it my worst enemy.
Great place to buy your new KIA
Unlike the first reviewer, my wife & I actually had a very pleasant experience at Kia 417. From our salesman Wali, to the Sales Manager Brendon and even in meeting the Service Manager Mike, everyone was extremely pleasant, helpful and most of all, trustworthy & honest.
If you're looking at buying a new KIA, we would highly recommend giving these people a call.

KIA 417 - Very sketchy dealership
I made the mistake of going to this dealership (off of Innes) and nearly got defrauded out of an extra $1,000.00 in added "life insurance" I never asked for. When I caught this on the contract, the sales manager ("Mustafa") tried to replace it with $3,000.00 in rust proofing I had already told him I didn't want either. He actually tried to sneak it onto the other contract, like I wouldn't notice. When I told him I wouldn't go though with the deal, he told me that their sales "were up 23% anyways" and seemed to giggle. Then he threatened to deliver the car to my house whether I liked it or not. Good luck buddy.
Total fraud.
KIA makes pretty good cars but avoid this dealership like the swine flu. Very sketchy people.

I would suggest that anyone avoid this dealership at all costs.
Hands down the worst customer service in all facets of the business I have ever experienced.
Everything was perfectly pleasant until the sale was complete and I had signed financing documents. From then on, the customer service was non-existent.
Sales representatives didn't keep me informed (I needed to call in myself for updates),...

Bought a Soul and absoultely love it!!! Had to wait a bit longer than what I would have liked, but I wanted white and was willing to wait for it. Really happy that I did. Stephanie was really great about keeping me updated on when my vehicle would arrive and got it ready for me earlier than promised. I would definitely recommend going to see her if you are going there.

On September 28th we had a 3 hour negotiating session with a very nice sales rep named Navi, in the hopes of purchasing 2 - 2014 Kia Sorentos. Unfortunately when it came to negotiating the final price we had to deal with the "manager". Not impressed with Kia 417's ethics. If you're shopping for a used car, they will outright refuse to give you the purchase price if you haven't taken a test drive yet.
Their motivation is obvious: they're hoping that you'll build an emotional attachment before negotiating with the unseen "finance manager".
Would not recommend their outfit to other buyers.

They charged me for alignment they did not do up to specification and provided me with a printout to prove that it was badly done to boot. When confronted, the operations manager, Mike Schmidt claimed that suspension defects that he was unable to identify prevented him from completing the job.

Absolutely horrible service. Would never honour the warranty. Two years after I got a Kia Spectra the air conditioning got a leak. Service department told me it was a result of a rock hitting the compressor, which is not covered by warranty. Service department is passable but way way better than Donnelly Kia in the west end. Window shopped with sales staff and they don't try to latch onto every potential sales victim like Donnelly does either. An ok experience but not A+

Nothing but good experiences here. Bought my 2011 Sportage here from Stephanie - great experience. I have had 2 visits covered under warranty no problems at all.
