Just like any other overpriced steak house
The Chop Steakhouse is like any other downtown steakhouse, in my opinion. Classy atmosphere, servers that are trying their best, but fall a bit short and are usually too slow, and good food that is overpriced.
not as good as I had hoped
The outside of the restaurant looks classy and inviting, but inside it's a crowded, poorly laid out mess. This made the service bad because the servers seem to be running all over, and the food overall wasn't as good as I had expected it to be. My steak was overcooked, but I opted to not send it back because it would take too long to get it back again.

could not manage to coordinate 4
August 02, 2014Could easily have been a great dining experience, however they were unable to coordinate all of our partys meals to come out. We received 3 of our meals in a reasonable amount of time. However we had to alert the server, the front desk staff and finally a manager for them to realize that they had forgot one of our meals. Good hospitality
July 30, 2014While our server unfortunately was a tad slow at getting things to us, mainly our drinks, he did exceed in hospitality. We went to celebrate anniversaries of 2 other couples and he bought each of us a dessert and/or glass of sparkling wine as a congratulations. This was certainly an unexpected but very lovely gesture!
