Cet endroit est mon préféré à Québec. Oui, la bouffe est traditionnelle, mais il y a plus. Les décors de ce qui compte dans les plus vieilles maisons de Québec et les costumes des employés, nous amènent dans une machine à remonter le temps. Allez manger là ! Ça va vous réconcilier avec la cuisine canadienne, la vraie.
Inundated by travelers during peak months, this venerable restaurant with costumed servers is in what's probably the city's oldest house (1677); its front windows are small because their original glass came over from France, packed in barrels of molasses. First night in Québec, walking the streets without a particular destination in mind, we stumble upon this place. First impression: What a pretty building! Such a lovely cozy restaurant. Had Christmas dinner and it was well worth it. The meats were cooked to perfection. The Grandfather, Grandmother as well at he AAA meat dishes were excellent. Look past the kitsch Christmas decor! The food and service were both excellent. I highly recommend the Bison Bourguignon and Beef Wellington!
