The service is great, but the food is average
June 16, 2014We went for chicken wings as this restaurant has good review on their wings. We ordered 4 different flavour: BBQ, Teriyaki, Sweet Chili, and 5 Alarm. Unfortunately, we didn't like any of them. We went to Christie's, Strathcona, Gorge Point, etc. for their wings and we found the wings are not as good as other places. The service is fabulous... more

Our fave local restaurant
January 04, 2014We live in a community of rather mediocre restaurants, albeit in a town with great restaurants - but some nights you just don't want to drive downtown. Sorry....they've lost a few steps over the years

I've likely eaten here 20-30 times. For a long time I took my family to 1550's for a quick "I don't want to cook tonight meal". Some months when work/life was really busy it seemed like a place to call home, and go stress-free.
The last several times we have gone just simply have been average to poor.
