Best Cheese Selection in Toronto

I adore the Village Cheesemonger it's my favourite part about Liberty Village!
I am especially excited to see that they carry the world's only organic (and ethically raised!) prosciutto--I recently stopped eating pork for ethical reasons (which sucks because my signature dish includes prosciutto) but now I know where to go to get ethically raised pork!
I also recently discovered the Beemster Goat Cheese at the Village Cheesemonger and it is absolutely divine!
The owners are so cool and knowledgeable about Cheese and wine pairings and are always willing to let you sample any cheese you want--in fact they encourage it!
I highly recommend the Village Cheesemonger.

get choice cheese advice...done nice

only thing better than the selection of cheese was the samples and advice. add in all the other unique items and you've got the perfect place to shop for family friends and yourself. As my Dad always said, if you can't read it, drink it or eat it...I don't want it. He'd love the Cheesemonger

Cheese Heaven

I have to begin by saying that I am a total cheese addict!!! I fell in love with the village cheesemonger when i first walked through the door - SOOO MUCH CHEESE IN ONE PLACE - LOL. The staff is great and they know their chesse very well, they were excellent is helping me to pick out new things to try and old favourites as well....My stocmach was full by the time i left, they will absolutley let you try anything you want - can't go wrong with that!!!
