I love having a real butcher shop. I don't think they're overpriced for what you get. Good selection, knowledgeable staff.
Excellent
The meats here are excellent, in particular their ground beef. Service is also excellent.
The prices are a little bit more than some other grocery stores, but you get what you pay for.

Really great place to get your meat. Fresh, local and organic meats are all available. I have always had great service and am pleased with my chicken, beef and turkey purchases from Summit Meats. Staff is knowledgeable and very efficient. I highly recommend Summit Meats.

Best place that I have been to in Kamloops for meat. They have a really good selection and staff that are informed and willing to help out. I have bought a few things here and have enjoyed all of it. It is more expensive than the chains, but there is no doubt that the quality is much better. I also admire the fact that much of the meat cutting is done right behind the counter.
