Noisy A/C

Asked to move but clerk said it would be easier if she sent engineer. He arrived promptly and stopped rattling, but it was still loud. He said it was normal. I wound up turning it off to see if someone was outside revving a motorcycle, but it was the A/C. So I left it off - but room was too hot. I wound up checking out early and moving to another hotel. Nice staff, clean property. Bring earplugs?

We like our free upgrade room (king bed and couch) on the Starwood Preferred Floor of the hotel. Very nice. Don't like - no complementary breakfast of any kind - cost us $21 for pancakes and a continental buffet. Don't like - $10/day for wireless internet that required a tech support call to connect to. Don't like - LONG painful drive from downtown Vancouver. I had no idea this city was so hard... more
