You can't miss Ham Hock

Quick lunch was tasty

We were driving (slowly) through Kelowna and saw this along the road. Glad we stopped. Good sandwiches and soup and friendly service for first timers who weren't sure of the routine. We sat outside and enjoyed the lovely afternoon breeze before heading up the road to Revelstoke. Place was busy even at 1:45pm which says a lot.

Can't be beat. Excellent food. The smell in the restaurant open to kitchen is enough to bring you back. Outside patio is great to sit in. Location between Orchard park & plaza great for shopping break. Looking at others plates, you know you have to come back and try something else.

First went to the Woodfire when they had a location in Vernon (where it's greatly missed) and ordered the ham & swiss torpedo, fell in love with that sub with the first bite! Amazing taste, great atmosphere and service and i never miss a chance to stop there whenever I'm in Kelowna.

We love it here

When ever my husband takes time off work, we go for lunch here. He always gets the smoked beef on a kaiser and loves every bite of it. The portions are huge.

You enter the restaurant and line up for a cafeteria style ordering system. The entire menu is displayed on a menu board and offers simple fare, mostly sandwiches and soups.
The corn chowder was delicious as was the chicken club. Simple fare, delivered with outstanding flavour and at reasonable prices.

Such a deal for $9.99 I ordered the pork hock which was gigantic and included a huge serving of saurkraut and a big humungous delicious slice of bread. It was such a huge amount I was almost embarrassed! I ended not even able to eat half and I took the rest home for another meal.

The absolute best place to eat. Very affordable prices, and an awesome atmosphere. This is my number one reason for visiting Kelowna.

Our number one choice for lunch whenever we come to town. Great menu options, lots of good German food ( even pork hocks with sauerkraut ), wonderful German pastries, good European-type coffee, and they won't break the bank.
