Switch to Shaw

When we had Telus, we were constantly being cut out and charged for random things. we could never get ahold of anyone. When we switched to Shaw, we could get in contact at all hours, and the quality of cable, phone and internet is about a million times better. Switch to shaw, its worth it

shaw rocks!

If you don't already use shaw as your cable provider you should. The customer service we have recieved over the years has been great. We use shaw for our phone, internet and cable.

Shaw was great in the past but moving from Edmonton to Red Deer... they really dropped the ball. The install was good but the service over the phone... no one really knew what they were doing, my bundle packages changed prices with each person and spoke with and there were no notes on my file. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED.

We are subscribing to the shaw internet connection for almost 2 years now. It was on a student discount plan. Recently they started charging us more. I have never had trouble with a Shaw representative. The new programs they are rolling out for existing customers is awesome. They offered us a $150 credit and free services for 6 months. We have been with them for years now and it is great to see a company that is starting to take care of existing customers and not just trying to lure new ones.

I find it so amazing that this company spends $$$$$$$ on marketing to new customers however they do nothing to retain their existing customer base. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why their customer retention is on a steady decline! These people damaged my PS3 during installation and denied any fault. Dispute ongoing, and likely to go to small claims court.

Bad company. Not only was I lied to about a pvr rental. They claimed I did an easy own option. But when I called it was to find out why they charge so much, they said there prices are competitive. Shaw has the worst bloody customer service. I am currently on hold - 75 bloody minutes later - as my email keeps duplicating over and over and over. This has been an ongoing problem for 6 or 8 weeks. Cheaper isn't always better.

I've went with Shaw as my internet and digital TV provider in the past hence why I was going to go with them again when I moved into my new place. A few unfortunate turn of events changed my mind.

I was a big fan of Shaw high speed internet until a few weeks ago when I noticed the speed was way down. My bill showed I was paying $52/mo. for high speed when high speed extreme is only $47/mo and high speed should be $37/mo. I like Shaw for the most part but their cable internet is faulty sometimes.

There have been many mornings where I wake up and the internet is going ridiculously slow or not working at all. Usually the problem is fixed by resetting the modem but it's such an inconvenience and annoying as anything.
