Clean place, but terrible customer service during a birthday party
Surprise 6% gratuity added to Birthday party final bill. This was not mentioned at all during booking. No copy of bill given. Promised juice for kids was not available, substituted with a flavor that none of the kids drank. Promised coffee for adults was missing. The compressor for air guns was not turned on automatically. Had to ask for it during first 40 mins play then again after next 30 mins of play after cake cutting and pizza. Also, they jam pack one party after another, so you feel rushed
Not happy to see you
The room was clean but the cleaning is done while the party was going on you could not turn you back on your food or drinks it was gone sweeping and packing up of the snacks and putting them in your bags even placing some of the food at the front door (how rude) why should you pay for 2hrs ...the older woman was not very pleasant...why use the room for parties ???????? when they seem to want you out of there...never again
birthday party at RW
Recently had my daughter's birthday party at Rainbow World. I was very happy with the service and the kids had a great time. Glad the facility was so clean and suitable for a wide age group. Other reviews mentioned about children washing their hands before going in to the play area which I think is a great idea, less germs and no grease. Will definitely recommend and book again
Had to show ID for 7 month old
8 months and under are free with an older sibling at rw. When I told the owner the age of my daughter she did not believe me and kept repeating " she is big. You have to pay". Finally I showed her my daughters health card to prove her age. So be warned parents, if you have an above average size baby, you might want to bring ID. Horrible customer service. This is all too bad because my three year old loves it there.
Birthday party
Went to a birthday party at Rainbow World tonight and left very disappointed as did the other parents in attendance.
The play place was great and the party area was big, however there were tons of fruit flies.
The owners were extremely rude. They ignored people asking questions (adults). The man kept yelling at the children (in both english and chinese). The man also inspected every child's hands before they were aloud to enter the play area. Half hour before the party ended, both owners started cleaning up. It made all the guests very uncomfortable. The women started mopping under the tables in which we were sitting at and the man vaccuumed the carpets in the same room. They also would not allow the kids to play - even with 35 minutes left in the party. I told the female owner that we had considered booking the $400 party for our twins, but we changed our mind. She didnt even bother to respond. I will not take my children back there.
Too small and only good for older kids
I took my daughter she was scared on the ball guns and the older kids were pushing.
Birthday Party Experience at Rainbow World
We recently had our son's 6th birthday party at Rainbow World, the kids had a great time and everything ran smoothly. I love the spacious play area with plenty of activities for children of all ages, never did I see anyone getting bored. Some important points that really made RW stand out amongst the other indoor playground would be the cleanliness and the ensured private party booking. I was very pleased with the service from the staff for being helpful and courteous. As a mother of two, I’ve had plenty of birthday parties and have visited plenty of indoor playgrounds in the area; the facility is fantastic and Rainbow World’s package price was definitely a good deal.
Re: MommyMe, paying 6% gratuity I think was well worth it. The staff helped greatly to make the birthday party stress free. I look around for birthday party venues for my children every year, even with the gratuity; Rainbow World’s price was lower than other facilities. I don’t think Rainbow World is the only indoor playground that adds a 6% gratuity either. I would most definitely agree that it’s very clean, fun, and the staff were great.
Birthday Party Re: MommyMe
I've been by a few times and the staff do a great job. The jungle gym is far bigger and has a lot more to offer than what I've come to expect from kid's play centres like this.
MommyMe, I didn't book a party myself, but I know the owners are Chinese and in China and Hong Kong a 10% service charge is added to everything. I feel for you as I really don't like paying extra fees (phone bill anybody), but I don't think this is a case of anyone being intentionally sneaky. They should however either do away with it or just make it part of the price. It's still good value at the end of the day. As you said, there's so much to do for kids of all personalities.
Birthday Party
We just had my son's birthday party there and the kids had a fantastic time. We had kids ranging from 18 months to 12 years old and all of them had activities to keep them happy. There were even video games to keep the shy kids entertained. Very, very clean. The staff were very nice.
For that stuff alone I would give them at least a 4.5 BUT there were a few sneaky things in the price that people should be aware of.
- First, it is not unlimited guests included in the price as advertised. They only provide servings for sets of 16 people and for each 16 after it is $10.
-The next thing is why I will not return for another birthday there and that is the forced tip on the end bill of 6%. I am paying $219.99 for the listed services which include set up and clean up and tip should not have been forced on me especially when it was never mentioned. Only after did I see in the fine print that gratituty is not included but again a tip is optional based on service.
It is unfortunate that a business has to resort to such sneaky business practices and if it wasn't for that I would have definetly returned and highly recommended them. I'm pretty sure I would have still gone there if they were clear of the hidden costs up front but at least I wouldn't have felt a little ripped off in the end.

Horrible customer service!!!!
I wish I had read these reviews BEFORE having my kids party there this weekend. The WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. It is too bad because the facility is great, but I will NEVER bring my kids back there again. My guests and I felt harrassed, the man (owner) was hovering over us the entire time. Getting mad at kids for being KIDS! He blocked the doorway into the playground so he could inspect each persons hands prior to going back into the play area. He actually turned a 2.5 year old back to RE-WASH his hands!!! I was so embarrassed, and felt horrible that my guests were subjected to this. I told the lady (other owner) how I felt at the end of the party and it seemed like she didn't even care. She just stood there with this silly smile/grin on her face the whole time! NEVER AGAIN, please be warned!!
And I am only giving this place 1 star because I have to give it something, otherwise it would be NO STARS!

Okay but too loud for young kids
Very bright and pretty inside but loud for small kids.
Re: lbear The noise is from the ball system which older children enjoy very much. If at any point during your visit you would like the system to be turned off for a short period of time, our staff will be glad to assist.
