Stopped in for lunch with two of our grandchildren (kids eat free for January which was a pleasant surprise). It wasn't our first choice but near Polo Park everything is often crowded, so Perkins it was. The food was good - we all had something different burgers, chicken fingers, potato pancakes and a kids hot dog. The service was slow.... more
Family dinner and 12 people all got their food served hot and within the same timeframe.
Food is good and worth the price. I have no complaints
A group of us met for breakfast at this Perkins restaurant. Breakfast was excellent, and the unlimited coffee is a definite bonus. The nice thing about Perkins is that their menu and quality of food is universal throughout their chain, whether the restaurant is in Canada or the United States. The food is good and reasonably priced, and the service... more
Good food, ate here with our son and his girlfriend. We all ordered different items and there were no complaints from anyone, serving staff attentive.
We stop here to eat each time we come through to go Ice fishing on lake Winnipeg. It' close to the bait store we go to. It also has a big parking lot as it's in a Mall area. We can park our trailers with all our gear and feel safe it's not going to get bothered. Food is good... more
Service was okay, nothing special. Food was average at best, and a long time coming to the table. Trying to pay at the end was an adventure, as the bill was not correct, and the cashier could not understand that the bill was wrong charging me for three meals when it was just two of us. Not an impressive showing.
The kitchen seems very dirty having passed to go to the bathrooms if you take a look you'll notice yourself the food was okay the price was okay but I would be more worried about the cleanliness over the cheap prices
Winnipegers are a demanding lot, which is why it is hard to find a truly bad restaurant in Winnipeg. It's also why consistently good restaurants tend to do well in Winnipeg and don't fade in popularity (by comparison) the way similarly good restaurants often fade in Toronto. This Perkins is operated by a family that knows Winnipeg particularly well. It... more
nice atmosphere- friendly staff, service sometimes slow. It has been awhile since I have been to Perkins- satisfied with the meals. No, I should mention once I ordered liver (never again) very line and like shoe leather.
I was greeted by Ashley who was very attentive & friendly. I ordered Captains Catch which was panko breaded cod with clams & shrimp. It also came with a delicious Caesar salad . All of it was
very good & a large portion. My husband ordered the turkey club which again was huge & very good as well. My friend...

we haven't been to Perkins for a long time. We sat for 20 minutes before we even got a menu. then we sat for 30 min. before someone came to take our order. (the waitress that gave us our menus went for her supper break) the food was only so so and all the serving staff seemed more interested in... more
friendly and good food but a bit untidy when we were there.
While we like Perkins we always leave feeling slightly disappointed as we never seem to get what we pay for. The staff are okay but the food is never really good, it's just good and we have now reluctantly decided not to go there anymore.
We had lunch here. I had the clubhouse sandwich which was good. The onion rings were very crisp. Our waitor, Brett, was exceptional.
Honestly, one of the worst places I have eaten at. High prices and tasteless food. Not returning again.
although we had to wait about 20 minutes to get a seat, once we were seated the service was fast and efficient.
I find Perkins variety is great, selection list is varied. But all the dishes have too much butter/grease on the breads. Too many things are friend on one side then loaded with sauces in the middle. It all squishes together
Ordinary, good food but nothing extraordinaire. You won't be disappointed if you don't set your sights to high.
I used to enjoy eating at this location, but it's been many years since I've been by. Things seem to have gone downhill badly since I last ate here.
My wife and I came in for a nice meal. We should perhaps have taken a clue from the fact that it was largely empty, and other nearby restaurants had lines...

I have been to this restaurant a few times and every time i find the experince to be infuriating. The food is not bad, the prices are pretty reasonable, but the reason i will NEVER frequent the Perkins restaurants is because of the service. The waitresses can always be found grouped together gossiping rather than waiting on the patrons. Every visit i have had to get up and interupt a gossip... more
my family made me eat here. everything was disgusting. the food was cold the bathrooms were gross and the staff were apathetic. in a word: repugnant.
Cheap. The carpets always seem to be dirty and the staff not incredibly friendly.
Lots to choose from, filling
good place to go when you're hungry and you need something cheap.
The worst Perkins experience I have ever had. Poor service - to the point where several people actualy left without paying, because no one attended the front counter for twenty minutes! Unbelievable! Makes McDonalds look like Baileys!
