As a sushi lover, I have to say that Nami is overrated. It's an institution that served sushi before sushi was trendy. I admit, the fish is always fresh and the dishes are quality however, all of the dishes are expensive and I never feel like it's anything special.

One specific thing about this place that I love is that they have these semi-private booths that have dividers separating you from the booths next to you in either direction. If you can get one of those booths, it's definitely worth it for some privacy.

I like Nami and have been several times. The sushi is really good and the grill is very special. Make sure to order black cod or other things from the grill as well as sushi. The restaurant is a bit dark, but there are quite a few booths, so it feels private. You can have a business meeting there.

We love everything about it. The Sushi Spring Rolls are delicious, the salmon is so fresh and amazing it melts in your mouth like butter.
I tried a drink called a "Hime" (sake, plum wine, peach and lime juice) and it was delicious.
We'll definitely be back!

Make sure you can make a call to Nami if you want a private room, otherwise you would be placed on the common room. The ambiance and the people are nice. They mentioned that the inner rooms are for reservation only, however while I was dining, I did see a group go in there after being seated in the same area as I. The sushi is better than average, but not spectacular. Decor, menus - overall backdrop for meal is tired.

and only make fresh batch all the way until 3 PM, then they sell
it until they are all gone. You can eat directly there for a light
snack or buy the boxes and bring them home. They taste very good
and don't forget to pick up a stamp card for free sushi!

Excellent preparation and presentation even for those not participating in sushi. Chicken dishes with rice and sauce were preared excellently.

If you like seafood this place is very good. My buddy and I were choosing the best and (usually) most expensive food. We were surprised by how cheap it was! In other restaurants we always pay about double.
