Worst Experiance EVER!!! Will never buy another Ford because of Metro

I would never recommend Metro Motors to anyone. Horrible customer service and very cheap and lazy work is done. When picking up my new truck I had also ordered snow tires and rims, when I showed up I had rims in boxes and the rubber all sitting lose in the back of my truck. After complaining that I wanted them obviously mounted to the rims I waited about 2 for them to do so (the truck was already 3 days later than they had promised me and we had already been waiting for about an hour or longer to finish signing the paperwork; the financial guy that I had to deal with just got back from holidays and hadn't had his morning coffee yet so we were asked to wait for him) BUT because I had to wait again they offered me a free tank of gas (you'd think after spending almost $40,000 a full tank would be already included??) The lot boy jumps in my brand new F150 and side swipes another truck in the parking lot. After that I decided I would keep the truck, but I wanted the entire door that was dented replaced, not fixed with bondo. They agreed on the spot and I drove the truck home. After days of hearing nothing, I finally made a call to see when this was going to happen, the next available apt was about 2 weeks away. I complained once again and received a call from a manager saying they would pick it up and do it immediately. I also noticed while I had my dented truck the undercoating (part of the almost $1200 paint protection package I had paid for) was not done properly, it looked ridiculous; they had basically done the middle of the undercarriage leaving about 12 inches around the fenders and entire frame un touched. They agreed it is not proper and promise to fix it at the same time. They dropped off a loaner car for a few days and picked up my truck from my work, I jumped in the car to go home after work to the gas light beaming in my face. A day or so later they drop off my truck, dent fixed; but undercoating never touched, it was exactly the same as it went in. I called again they came and grabbed my truck I think 2 more times until they finally did it properly, In between I took it to another body shop to see if this was proper (maybe I was wrong?) and I was told it was done wrong, and leaving it the way it was is worse than no undercoat at all as it leaves areas for water to be trapped (and rust) the areas they did not undercoat were the difficult area's that required taking off the wheels and masking the truck so it does not get overspray. After multiple complaints to multiple people it was finally done properly like I had paid for. In between all these pick up's of my truck I had a flat tire, put on one of my winters to last a few days and left my spare underneath as I was driving to Kamloops and thought I should have a spare in case I get another flat, I left my flat in the back and they said they would fix that for me as well free of charge, they dropped my truck off after and the tire was missing. Again I called and the man said oh that's where that tire came from that is sitting here, we will drop it off for you at your work; I explained I was leaving work early and asked them to drop it Friday before 2 or keep it there until Monday. I arrived to work Monday morning at 5am to my tire sitting in front of my office door. When I talked to them about that on the Monday morning around 10 or 11, they blatantly lied and said it was dropped off first thing Monday morning not Friday after i left (I wasn't aware the Metro was open at 5am for deliveries) I have since had the truck for almost a year, having to send it back to get the box liner redone as I had put a load of wood in the back and it had scratched off (this was in February) This past weekend I went away and took my quad, loaded it in just fine, unloading it I put the ramps up and drove it off, removed the ramps to discover the paper thin box liner had scratched off again. I just got home from taking it in to get it looked at and am told it is not a defective bed liner and they would "out of good gesture" re spray where it is scratched (same as they did the first time). I just left, cut my losses, money well wasted as far as I am concerned; im not about to bring it back every time i put something in my box and it scratches off again, instead i will take it to a proper box liner shop and pay for it again to be done proper. Paid full price for a half fast job and cheap product. I don't use the truck for big hauling; a small Polaris 250 quad should not damage a quality product which this obviously is not. As far as I am concerned Metro Ford will charge you full price (or more) for half fast, cheap product. I think there slogan "built Ford tough" should be changed to "built ford cheap." This truck is used simply for pleasure, it is not a work truck; In fact this is only the second time I have had anything of size in my truck and the second time it has scratched off. If you want to spend a large amount of money on nothing but a headache, try this place!!!

Horrible Service

I drive a Ford vehicle. Ford builds some of the most innovative vehicles of all the manufacturers. Unfortunately for Ford owners, poorly managed dealerships with improperly trained staff bring a negative reputation to the parent company. This is how Metro Motors has lost a customer for life, and lost the confidence in it's principal company.

I scheduled an appointment to have my vehicle serviced at Metro Motors on Saturday morning. This was to replace one spark plug which I was unable to change myself. I dropped my vehicle off at 8:00 as my appointment stated. I waited in the customer waiting area for my vehicle to be serviced. At around 10:30, I wanted to know how the progress was on my vehicle. I went back to the service department and inquired about the progress. I then learned, just at that time that they were delayed due to another work order that was scheduled before my vehicle. In essence, my vehicle was not even worked on at all and was sitting in the parking lot. I was then told that I will be contacted as soon as they are able to work on my vehicle. I was very irritated as I took time off work to have my vehicle serviced. I had breakfast at a nearby eatery to kill more time. At 12:00 I came by again and inquired about my vehicle, since I did not receive any call from the service department. I was told that my vehicle was not worked on at all and that it will take considerable time before they will get to it. So for 4 hours, or half a work day, I waited for absolutely nothing and walked away with absolutely nothing. Absolutely nothing but sheer disappointment and disbelief that a successful local Ford dealer would treat their customers with such unprofessionalism and lack of consideration.

I have since contacted Ford Canada, which has informed me that I must contact the management of Metro Motors. I have since contacted Metro Motors management and they have not returned my inquiries. If anything I simply wanted an answer as to why they would have my waiting for 4 hours to end up with nothing. If management can not find the time to answer my inquiries then I will find the time to make sure the public is known about their mistreatment of their customers.

I will continue to own a Ford vehicle, I simply won't ever bring it to Metro Motors. Metro Motors is involved in the community by supporting local charities and youth groups, but that does not take away from the realistic fact that they are a group of individuals who know nothing about proper management, customer service or business ethics. I would outright insist that anyone and everyone avoid this poor business all together.
