This Scandinavian-style log-cabin hotel, on 13½ acres on Lac Ouimet; the rooms, from studios to two-bedroom suites, are spacious, with kitchenettes, stone fireplaces, and balconies that overlook the water. The indoor-outdoor Whisky Bar, which serves light dishes, also looks out on the lake. The more-formal Chez Borivage, which has a good wine cellar, specializes in French cuisine. Although the... plus
The rooms were nice, the indoor swimming pool, spa and exercice room were perfect. The kids club was awesome, the access to the lake and beach and the small fire camp at night were all part of our wonderful trip, we would go back anytime:)
We have stayed at the Le Grand Lodge almost every year since discovering it ~ 10 years ago. It has been just what we needed for a family with young children. The suites we have stayed in have been so perfect - lake view balconies, fireplace , separate master suite including king size bed, TV and ensuite bath ( there... plus
I went there in Summer and in Winter. If you want to ski at Mont-Tremblant, they have a shuttle. There is also a nice place to do cross country skiing (Domaine Saint-Bernard).
In summer, you can go on the beach or go kayaking on the lake. You can go golf nearby.
There is an indoor swimming pool and an indoor...

We spent two nights at the Grand Lodge. We booked in early January and were aware that rooms were in the process of being renovated. We asked to be booked in a renovated room; unfortunately, we were booked in a non-renovated room - we were slightly disappointed.
The good:
Room: The room was very large with two large beds. A...

We are from London England just spent 4 nights at Le grand lodge the staff couldn't be more friendly and welcoming or helpful , very relaxing well located venue with great shuttles to the ski village and local buses to the centre ville. the spa staff are amazing , pool and hot tub are generous . We went dog sledding... plus
We just did a day/night/day at Mont Tremblant (more on that in another post) and stayed at the Grand Lodge. A few friends have gone there in summer / fall and were always very happy. Our room was comfortable and had a gas fire place. The fire place and forced air room heating unit proved invaluable in terms of drying... plus
This was my first trip to Mont-Tremblant and was a good experience. The hotel is a bit of a drive away from the ski areas but the hotel had a shuttle that dropped you off and picked you up at the bottom of the ski hills. The hotel is big old log cabin building. Fire places are spread throughout the... plus
We wanted to stay somewhere that had the feel of a condo with the luxury of an on-site restaurant and bar, and we didn't want the traditional hotel feel. Le Grand Lodge was the perfect solution for us. We stayed in a 1 bedroom, lakeview suite. Loved that the lobby and spent many hours at the Whiskey Bar where bartender... plus
This is one of the most lovely places you can find. The lodge is very well positioned with beautiful views down Lac Ouimet, one of my favourite lakes ever. The rooms are well appointed, have all you need to cook. The beach and marina are practically perfect. Canoes, kayaks and paddle boats are available to hotel guests, as are towels,... plus
Went with my parents and a few friends. Slept on the Murphy bed and it was awful. I was up until four in the morning after taking sleeping pills because I couldn't find a single comfortable position! No idea what the main bed is like. Really nice pool and great shuttle service to Mont Tremblant for skiing, shopping, etc. Liked... plus
We stayed at the Grand Lodge November 2013 for two days and ground the accommodation acceptable but dated. Location to Tremblant was about 4 km or 3 miles and convenient though you are out of the action. The rooms are big and comfortable for the most part but dated to say the least. Furniture is worn and grubby as well... plus
My girlfriend and I stayed at Le Grand Lodge this past weekend, as we were celebrating our first anniversary together and were looking to get out of town for a couple days.

Went there during christmas time in 2012. Got a fairly spacious one bedroom suite. Very nice and cozy place. With snow all around - it looked even more prettier. The biggest draw for this hotel is it is not too far away from Mont-Tremblant nor is it far away from groceries and such. We stayed for 3 nights and ate... plus
Staying at Le Grand Lodge was something that I had been unsure about prior to this trip. I have had many trips to Tremblant with friends and it's been somewhat of a tradition to stay right in the resort village.
While the rooms were nothing spectacular, they completely suited our purpose as we were able to get a suite with...

Stayed at the Grand Lodge for Thanksgiving long weekend. We took a suite with view on the lake which was nice. The suite had one separate bedroom with its own bathroom, full size kitchen, eating area, small living room with murphy bed and another full bathroom. Rooms were clean and comfortable but for whatever reason, very warm. They had an... plus
My regret is that I didn't plan more time visiting this beautiful area! On arrival, we met Christian who showed us the lake view rooms which was certainly worth the upgrade charge. He also was the hotel's best advocate by describing all of the activities that are available for guests. The room had a kitchen, living room with a beautiful... plus
I've been visiting this property for a few years for a week every summer. It's always been great until this year. Showed up, our reservation was lost, then found out it was because the spelling was wrong. We waited a while for a room but not a problem since we were upgraded. We were able to put our things in... plus
Excelent hotel , great service with a great location. The suites have a spectacular view on the lake. Kayaks, canoes and peddle boats are available on the private beach free of charge. Also
four well maintaned tennis courts. great for a romantic getaway or family vacation.
Nice hotel to stay with kids. A lot of activities in the hotel and surrounding areas. You are close to the village and the restaurants but still have peaceful place to relax with private beach. Tennis courts are in bad shape.
Activities at hotel and surrounding areas:Biking, hiking, swimming, zip line, ping-pong tables, pool, foosball,.....

Stayed 3 nights in January 2012. It was a last minute decision on our quest to find enough snow for cross country skiing. We found it! It snowed every day or night that we were there. We recently returned from a very enjoyable 5 night stay at Le Grand Lodge as my husband and nephew were participating at the IronMan Mont Tremblant. Stayed 5 nights in August 2013. Great location on scenic Lake Ouimette. Get a room with a lake view. Rooms are comfortable, rustic, and well stocked (fridge, stove, dishwasher, utensils, etc...) but could use an upgrade on towels, pillows, duvets, TVs, etc... A 10 minute drive to Temblant Village (for activites) and St. Jovite (for restaurants, shopping and groceries). A... plus
If you are a non smoker this is not the hotel for you as they allow smoking from all of their balconies which blows in your room as you try to enjoy the fresh air. Stay closer to the main hotels as no walking and they do not allow smoking.
Just returned from a 3 night stay with husband and teenage daughter. Stayed in a deluxe lake view suite (321) which had 2 bathrooms, a master bedroom with on site ,Murphy bed, full kitchen with utensils, pots and plates for 6. Fridge was noisey. A separate sitting area with TV and couch. Couch and carpet needs replacement. Great view of lake... plus
Wow was all I said when we walked in. Kitchen area to cook meals , nice clean bathroom, comfortable beds . free Pool table for guests. Hot tub and sauna were a little too hot, but you get used to it. Free gondola pass was great. had an over all good 2 days
The staff at this hotel were extraordinary. All requests were responded to immediatly.
Perfectly situated halfway between Tremblant downtown and village.
The rooms are very large, lakefront views great. We loved using the kayaks(no charge). Kids loved the nightly marshmallow roasting and playing ping pong(again, no charge). The private sandy beach is perfect for young children.

Very beautiful lodge with great quality/price ratio. Suites are awesome with a dining place, a kitchen, a bedroom and 2 bathrooms, and a fireplace. We spent at Le Grand Lodge Mont-Tremblant five nights. Myself, my wife, two kids and a dog were all thrilled with the hotel beach with toys and basic rentals, serenity of the surrounding park and lake, hotel facilities and friendly services.

As written by several reviewers, the main hall is extremely nice, reminding a little of the Old Faithfull Inn at Yellowstone National Park - and this is a real reference. You definitively feel in a cabin in Canada!

We spent over $210.00 for the room and breakfast and we were expecting to stay in a 4 stars property. Spent 3 nights at the Lodge in a lakefront room that had a fireplace, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, large balcony overlooking Lac Ouimet. Very peaceful and serene. Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, hotel was clean and well cared for. The setting is picturesque rustic and less than a 10 minute drive from center city Mont-Tremblant. Definitely gets our recommendation.
We stayed at La Grande Lodge in August of 2012. We had a great time last year and thinking of coming back again this summer. The Sunset Room was very comfortable to stay at for 3 nights. It was like staying in a homey chalet with all the services and amenities of a hotel. lots of activities at their private beach. Kids loved roasting marshmallows by the bonfire right next to the beach every night. Indoor swimming pool was warm.
The Lodge is a perfect place for a getaway. I was visiting on business, but will return with my family. The property is set up for families, with rooms that have split, separate sleeping quarters for parents. There is a full kitchen and a murphy bed and/or pull out for kids.

Overall, this location is perfect. Set in the Laurentians just outside of St-Jovite, Quebec. The rooms were splendid with lots of space, 2 bathrooms, large balcony overlooking Lac Ouimet. The Grand Lodge is a fantastic place to stay for families...convenient location right near the south side of Tremblant...an easy walk to the Village, right near the bike paths and close to the ski hill. Love the rustic building and love the pool. Affordable and accessible to where you 'WANNABE'!
This a newish hotel built around the core of the old Villa Bellvue. It is across the lake from the former Gray Rocks resort which is now closed. Convenient location to the south side of Mont Tremblant, at a reasonable price. Log wood style of the main building and the main hall with stone fireplace and rustic dining room. Rooms clean, spacious and comfortable. Quiet setting.
The hotel was very comforting, relaxing and original. The lobby was almost completely made out of log wood, which made it have that cozy atmosphere. Overall everything was very nice. The food was good although rather expensive, and you are taxed twice in Canada. The room was large and comfortable and had a gas fireplace. Our view was of the flat roof af the adjoining rooms, but the price was reasonable. We would love to return in the summer.
Nap, Massages, Dinner, Casino, sleep, and a Hot tub & swim before heading off the next morning. Busy-busy-busy... we should have booked two nights!
Good place to stay but outstanding place to eat in.
“They got the basics right. It is nice complex with a lot of features. I chose the 'sunset view' package and I was expecting something with the view on the Ouimet lake. Not so. By their own definition, it is the opposite site of the lake. Thanks to their logic, I was fooled and let down. I never saw such a large indoor pool. “Great family destination- where adults and children can really enjoy themselves with great after ski and evening entertainment great view of lake.”
“Earthy and romantic. It over looks the lake in fantastically accommodated rooms built to fit many-group of 6 couples comfortably/leg family. Very clean environment.”
“The Grand Lodge is a beautiful log Hotel. The rooms have 2 queen beds, a sitting area for reading with 2 chairs, a gas fireplace, TV, fridge and microwave, coffee maker.
