Homemade Goodness
The Flaky Tart actually MAKES real food! I'm always impressed with everything I buy. The chicken pot pie has real chunks of meat in it and isn't too saucy,and the steak pie is gorgeous. Finally I have found a meat pie that tastes just like my British Grandpops used to make....now I just have to find some gravy!
Delicious Treats!
The Flaky Tart has so many delicious things to choose from including fresh pies (fruit pies and meat pies that are great for a quick dinner), cookies, and even homemade marshmallows! Their cakes are adorable for birthdays and other occasions and their staff is always friendly and helpful! You should definitely check it out!

The folks at Flaky Tart are so friendly. Everything I have bought here has been delicious......mmm....so good! And the custom work (specificly cakes) - two thumbs up! I'm a very Happy Camper :)
Amazing baked goods and personal service
I think this is one of the jewels of visiting Toronto - the wonderful scents when you enter the Flaky Tart and then sample the baked goods. These are exceptional people bringing quality to everything they make.

Butter Tart Heaven
Oh my gosh - you have never had a butter tart until you've had a flaky tart butter tart! runny, gooey, sweet heaven in a hand held form.

Great friendly, down to earth happy people serving up gorgeous treats!!!
Love the pies (especially the apple which is hand cut not like the commercial pie filling you usually get) a big fan of the ginger cookies which I keep a supply in my freeze for whenever I get the cravings. I don't want to share so please drop by the Flaky Tart and then you will know what I mean. I will be back to test drive more yummies!

Worth the travel
I live a few miles away from the Flaky Tart but it's worth EVERY mile EVERY time I treat the family to one of Madalyn's delicious creations!!! Everything is so fresh, creative, delicious and affordable. A MUST TRY incredible little bake shop! Bon appétit!
Mmmmm cookies!
My cookie monsters love the cookies on a stick! I'm partial to the butter tarts. I know that when I'm eating these treats the food is fresh and made with only the best ingredients. I think I'll pick up something for the weekend dinner party now that I'm thinking of it!

I just met Madelaine and she was so nice, she explained all her wonderful creations and you could really tell that she really puts her heart into each of her treats. And they really are a TREAT!

I tried their cranberry shortbread and it was soooo yummy!!! Their pastries are great and Madeline is so sweet!! Great place to pick up an assortment of treats!

The smell alone in flaky tart will knock you off your feet. Absolutely delicous. Had a sliver of chocolate cake and I can't describe how good it is. Stop in and indulge yourself

A friend of mine met Madelaine Sperry at a breast cancer event and recommended I go to Flaky Tart. So I went in and bought some brownies for my cousins birthday and it was delightful. YOU HAVE TO GO!
