I have eaten there many times - the food is amazing and great value!
I don't get it.
Maybe it's just me.
Noodles veggies and very little chicken
You put in the spices so if you don't like it ....it's your fault.
This place firstly is extremely over priced for the quality. I had steak stir fry and the meat was full of gristle (yuk)! The food when it arrived was saturated in oil. AND the food was mainly tasteless ans way over cooked for stir fry...the mess on the plate was soggy and not enjoyable. I regret even trying this place... more
I found the food okay. There was definitely enough to go around. We came here with a business group. I had steak and chicken. The service was good.
Awful experience. Veggies were stale, noodles were soggy. Service was c@!p. Management didn't stand behind their food. very experience and not worth at all. What a waste of time and money:(
We ate here for my husband's birthday and the food was excellent. I had a stir-fry with Mahi Mahi and he had a chicken stir-fry. We both enjoyed our meals. It came with rice, salad and a bun and all of the veggies and noodles you can fit into the bowl. We were stuffed. The only thing I miss is... more
My husband had visited years ago and was looking forward to going back when we were staying in the area recently. From what it seems like, the restaurant has gone down hill over the past few years, nothing like what he remembers. Our service was average and the food was way over-priced. The selection was small and the actual meal... more
This was not the first time we have been to fire and ice, but the last. The previous time we were there, there was a hair in my food. This time, the people at the table next to us had a hair in their stirfry. Indeed, I also found not one, but two eye lashes or hairs in mine (and... more
The price is pretty hefty ($20 per person) for the amount of food and display. The only thing that was superior was the salmon and chicken that I ordered, both cooked perfectly. Even though one could load up on noodles and veggies, the selection was not that great. At the end, it cost $47 for 2 people, and the dishes... more
This was my second time to this restaurant (Approx. 2yrs apart)
My son wanted to go here for his birthday.
$20/ea
You go up to the buffet.
You can load up on noodles, veggies etc.
They ask you what protein you want. This was double protein night. I would hate to see regular because the double protein did not look...

It was pretty awesome, definitely loved the stir fry which is what they are famous for. A tip -- create a donut-equse noodle bottom on your bowl so you can pile up the maximum amount of food for the stir-fryers. Makes good leftovers for the follow day's lunch as well.
Visited Toronto and live in Dallas. We have something here called Genghis Grill which is far far superior. This is over priced with pretty poor service as you can't decide how many and how much meats you want. Well there frankly isn't any point in that then. They didn't have very many types of sauces compared to what I am... more
The changes over the last couple of years have not been for the better. Bread basket variety has been replaced by cheap white dinner rolls, salad bar selections have been removed, and 8pm on Mother's Day, they had run out of pasta salad and refused to make more. They no longer include a scoop of sherbet for dessert. At least... more
There is nothing quite like Fire & Ice. This is an awesome place located in the heart of Markham. Ample parking outside for big parties. I get to choose the vegetable the buffet style and enjoy the customized food made to my dream. The servers are friendly and the design of the restaurant is really unique like a cave. Love it. Two thumbs up.
Both salmon and beef is fresh and juicy. For a full...

There is a system to how getting your food works in this restaurant, which is a cool experience. However, considering the price tag, and the relative blandness of the food, it's not (for example) as good as going to Mongolian Grill just outside of Pacific Mall.
Excellent. Great service.Family dinner for four.
It was our first time with our close friends, another couple. The service was cold as well as the place. We took our baby as well that day, and it was freezing in there, when asked to be moved to another area, the not at all friendly waitress told us that, this was the case everywhere and the heat is... more
We went for my birthday Sunday brunch with the friends. I liked it a lot - the service, the concept, the food. Steak and fish (basa, grouper, tilapia) were grilled to perfection and paired very well with Kressman Chardonnay. We liked the idea of choosing our side dishes and sauces. They were able to accommodate my husband's gluten free diet.... more
It is typical Mongolian type of cooking style but with Chinese flair.. Cool place for the kids and maybe a nice cheap date night. Nice concept but food all taste the same and can be bland.
The food is overpriced by at least 75% for the stir fry, and the service was horrible. Although the place was empty for lunch, it took a very long time for them even to bring a cup of apple juice to my 2 year old. Neat concept, but very poorly executed.
Pros: Concept is cool enough. You go around this salad bar looking station and load up on a plate what you want them to stir fry for you. Cons: the food is bland and tasteless (given you add the ingredients yourself but unless you cook it all the time who knows how much sauce to use etc). I felt the... more
We have been here several times and never been disappointed. Pick your protein then build the rest of your dinner from a wide assortment of fresh fruits/vegetables etc.Whatever combination or amount you like. Choice of rice to compliment your meal. Usually end up bringing some of it home for a second meal.
There's something for everyone and love it. Build your own meal that was a great and very healthy. This restaurant has something for everybody seafood, meat and vegetarian.
I saw this place around the corner from our hotel and was instantly interested! I was not dissapointed! The staff was amazing and the food was even better. It's a gorgeously decorated restaurant and the "build your own" stir fry style is great. You choose your meat, and then go up to the buffet style counter and add noodles, veggies... more
Build your own stir-fry. Great for vegetarians (tofu and portobello mushrooms), seafood lovers and meat-eaters alike. Lots of fesh veggies to pick from, pasta and rice. Includes salad and rolls. Pick your own sauce and enjoy.
a little different food stir fried on huge grill not particularly tasty
We met friends for dinner last week. It was my first visit to Fire and Ice. While the restaurant offers à la carte, platters and children's selections, it was fun to pick out our protein (wide selection of seafood, meat and vegetables), noodles, vegetables and sauce, and then hand it over to the chef to have it prepared. This way... more
Fire & Ice is a great Stir-Fry Restaurant in Markham. You can choose between creating your own Stir-Fry, or you can order a la carte. If you want to create your own Stir-Fry this is the right place for you!
Let me preface this by saying I only went there once. Because once was enough. At this establishment, you watch the cooks make the stir-fry to order in front of you. And when I saw the cook take raw chicken with tongs and put it on the grill, and then take my bread with the SAME tongs ... well that was it for me. Sometimes it's better not to see what goes in in the kitchen, but for me,... more
