I've came here a few times, and it's usually so packed that I can't get a seat anywhere. But when I can, I always have a great time.

They have lovely little spots to sit, lots of big windows, and it's definitely more suited towards catching up with friends than a place to get work done. It's quite loud.

When we first discovered this coffee shop my wife and I would travel from UBC just to get a mocha, seriously. The bulk coffees are great, and the snacks are yummy. There's also a bulletin board with lots of local events posted.
If you get a drink with whipped cream, ask for the chocolate stuff - well worth it

Paul, Sarah and gang make some tasty traditional coffees here and they have a wonderful selection of roasted beans for home brewing.

I've been here a few times now, and the experience has always been good. The staff are efficient, if not super chatty, but they get the job done. Their coffee is quite good - I've found their decaf to be smoother than most, and pleasant to drink, rather than something that wistfully makes me wish I could drink real coffee again!

Every time I'm over from the big island I come to continental for my beans. Stock up familia. Can't find a better coffee. Love this place.

I love the overall atmosphere here, and the coffee is pretty good. It's too bad the staff seem to be so angry with the world. The last few times I've been in it's as though I've inconvenienced them by showing up with the dirty looks and pouty faces given. For the record, I'm an average Joe just looking for a nice coffee and place to enjoy it.

The coffee is good. I found the ambience a bit forced and weird, although I guess that's par for Commercial Drive.

This cafe used to be very good. I used to frequent this cafe a lot. Their Latte's, cappuccinos, and brewed coffee were always consistent, aromatic and flavourful. However since they renovated, they've changed their espresso beans. It's no longer tastes as good as before. I am curious to know why because they are a coffee house and a roaster that supply their own beans.

I needed a latte night cap, decaf of course. I ordered a small skim milk sugar free vanilla latte and I was disappointed. The price was right, however, I could barely taste the vanilla and the coffee to milk ratio was a bit off. I never actually sit here, but use it to reward myself for walking all the way to the drive. The whole way I deal with the c@!%!y Vancouver weather by imagining the almond milk mocha waiting for me. And it is always so good. Would have given 5 stars except some times they forget to stir the chocolate syrup into the milk. Oh, and sometimes it's a total gong show inside. I seriously adore this place. And so many others do as well, considering you can hardly ever find seating on a casual day, between 10:00 - 17:00. I'm not a coffee expert but I know the basics of making a good espresso drink, as timing and the temperature. I don't remember ever getting a burnt coffee in this place. M and I stared at the open till at the cashier -these colorful 20s and 10s and 5s and loads of loonies and toonies are all smiling at us.

My other favorite coffee spot on the Drive (the other being Calabria). Serves excellent coffee and superlative hot chocolate. The food is ok, but for me the real delight is in the coffee. Friendly, comfortable, and great people watching.
