Three generations have percolated here, producing the best dark roast and organic coffee on the Drive. Jordan Allan and family also have their own roasting plant in town—most popular is the Famiglia blend.
I've came here a few times, and it's usually so packed that I can't get a seat anywhere. But when I can, I always have a great time.
They have lovely little spots to sit, lots of big windows, and it's definitely more suited towards catching up with friends than a place to get work done. It's quite loud.

When we first discovered this coffee shop my wife and I would travel from UBC just to get a mocha, seriously. The bulk coffees are great, and the snacks are yummy. There's also a bulletin board with lots of local events posted.
If you get a drink with whipped cream, ask for the chocolate stuff - well worth it
Paul, Sarah and gang make some tasty traditional coffees here and they have a wonderful selection of roasted beans for home brewing.
