The best Indian restaurant in Cabbagetown by far (as they are one of two). Waiters are friendly and service is prompt.
Food was good, not great; some were very spicy and tasted quite authentic (masala, butter chicken, most curries) but others were a tad on the salty side.
More than I wanted to pay, but still worth visiting if you're in Cabbagetown and looking for quality Indian cuisine.
My friend is obsessed with Indian food. Recently she just can't seem to get enough curry. We came here for a surprise dinner and you would have thought I bought her a car. She loved every bit of her authentic Indian cuisine
I love the butter chicken factory and they never disappoint. Been on a few dates there and the service and food are always great. Worth checking out

I ordered in from here with a friend who lives in the area. This was only my second indian food experience but it was pretty good! I ordered an eggplant dish just to play it safe and it was delicious..but the naan bread was my favourite!! I could eat that all day!
A new Indian restaurant in Cabbagetown and I was craving some butter chicken so I decided to check it out with a few friends.
Pretty empty so service was pretty quick and food was tasty. Not the best butter chicken in Toronto (I prefer Biryani House), but pretty good especially since they are slightly cheaper than many places in downtown Toronto. I would go again, but skip the Indian beer, it's not my taste.

I came here with my partner one evening. The service was rude, and unprofessional. Our server began pestering us to order before we had a chance to look at our menus. When we told him we were not yet ready to order, he took offense and purposely ignored us when we would call him. When we finally attempted to order, we were told that 75% of the menu was out of stock. A true waste of time, and terrible experience.
i ordered chicken, lamb curry and naan after walking pass them during the cabbagetown festival. i love how the delivery was free. tasted so good but i felt really full after... indian food is a bit heavy but great to eat once in awhile. i highly recommend the butter chicken factory

The Butter Chicken Factory is a relatively new addition to Cabbagetown which cooks up a lot more than just its namesake butter chicken. While that dish definitely impresses, there's also a whole range of North Indian eats including aloo gobi, daal, tandoori chicken and more.
The last time i visited toronto this place was called timothy's tikka house. it was indian cuisine as well but i prefer the factory, butter chicken factory. we were a group of 6 and order a dinner for 4 and a dinner for 2 and oh my were the sizes huge. it was unbelievably tasty and we had an awful... more
Easily the worst service I've seen in Toronto. Bad enough to motivate me to write a review to warn off unsuspecting victims.
They accepted my delivery order despite not having two of the dishes I'd ordered. They then substituted in what they figured I may want instead - without so much as calling to confirm. AND forgot three items from...

This was one of my unfriendly stays in Cabbagetown. I would newer again go there. Especially when you can go to a lot of nice places around.
We ordered takeout and were told it would be an hour. It arrived 1 hour and 45 minutes later without even an apology. When we opened up our order there was no rice even though the menu said that entrees were served with basmati rice. When I called they said we had an old menu, so I asked why didn't... more
After waiting over an hour for my food I tried to cancel my order and was told I was paying for it. No manager to speak to and not even an apology. The worst service I have ever received !!! There are much better Indian restaurants in Toronto. Do not waste your time or money on this place !
Worst experience ever. Food is ok - just ok! The service is terrible, frightfully bad. Do not spend your money here.
The Butter Chicken Factory.
This places offers good Indian Food (not really authentic) but the atmosphere of this place is really small. Which gives a awkward feeling while dining in.
This is the best Indian restaurant in my Cabbagetown hood. I pretty much order the same things, and always the cashew white meat butter chicken, the eggplant curry, the rice with saffron, some pappadums and the naan. It's all so yummy you don't want any lirttle bit to go to waste. The service is pleasant but very slow so best... more
We had a reservation, arrived on time, no server to greet us, waited about 5-7 minutes...finally one person emerged from the kitchen, did not acknowledge us, disappeared back into the kitchen. More waiting. We noticed people waiting with menus, one table waiting to pay, another table waiting for food, drinks almost gone.
It happens every time!!! Only one server on...

It was a bitterly cold Friday night and we were all sweaty after a Bollywood Fitness class. After all that calorie burn, one would think we'd go for something healthy. Nope, we decided to just reward ourselves with Indian cuisine. I am so glad we threw caution to the wind. It was the most savory and tasty Indian dinner I... more
