C'est un endroit un peu kitsh mais accueillant. Le personnel est efficace et gentil. La bavette-frites est succulente. Les desserts sont super bons. Bref, c'est mon avis et je le partage !

Je suis retourné au Café Pèlerin..euh pardon..le restaurant Pèlerin-Magellan comme cela se nomme maintenant. J'ai été profondément déçu. Ce n'est plus le café d'autrefois, avec son ambiance estudiantine, son menu bistro et ses prix acceptables. Maintenant, c'est un resto bar avec un menu qui ne convient plus aux étudiants. J'adore ce restaurant, quand on ne sait pas quoi manger et quel restaurant choisir c'est inévitable, on va là. La nourriture y est toujours bonne, le service aussi. Mon chum vous recommande la fondue au fromage et moi la salade au confit de canard. Les prix sont très raisonnables et la table d'hôte y est très intéressante.

Staying up the street & looking for a close place for dinner- so glad we found this place. Don't be alarmed by the lack of people in the restaurant on a nice night- they are all on the lovely garden/patio in back.

Excellent French food, great service, cozy bistro atmosphere. This was my first French meal in Montreal and I enjoyed it so much. I had the filet mignon with brie that came with fries and salad, and everything was delicious. I definitely would love to return again if I visit Montreal again. Love their garden with outdoor seating in the Quartier Latin neighborhood as well.

First impressions are everything and as the first restaurant I tried in Montreal, I am impressed.
The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the bison steak which came with a good portion of fries and greens.
