Terrible Service

This is possibly one of the worst truck repair facilities I've dealt with. I have a Peterbilt 379 and a Kenworth T800 that were both involved in heavy wildlife collisions. I had both trucks in there at the same time having well over $22,000 worth of repairs being done to each truck. I was told that the downtime for repair would be three weeks. It ended up being six weeks before they returned my trucks to me. Upon returning them, I found loose body panels, blemishes in the paint and structural pieces missing in the cabs. The Kenworth had the exhaust stacks poorly aligned so every time I hit a bump the stack would hit the cab. The Peterbilt was so poorly repaired after a big bump on the road one of the lower side fairings fell off. I returned both trucks and told the owner of the shop I wanted them repaired immediately. Two days later I picked up the trucks, but the problems did not end there. They still did not repair the blemishes in the paint on either vehicle, nor did they secure the cab panels. I had to bring both trucks back and wait another three days before everything was done properly. I stressed to the shop owner about the inconveniences and my frustrations for poor service and poor repair work. The owner of the company stated that this is normal as not every repair can go exactly as planned and customers coming back is normal. This was such a poor excuse for the entire mishap. This company has cost me so much money in downtime and has caused so many problems I highly recommend avoiding this shop all together. This is poor business practise, poor quality control and staff that are inexperienced. I filed a complaint with Manitoba Public Insurance as well as submitted photos and a description of everything that has happened since bringing both my vehicles to Derrick's Sandblasting and Paint. The owner contacted me shortly after and was downright rude to me for my actions. No one in the this company would account for any of the mishaps and problems that have occured. There were no apologies and nothing was done to correct the issues that I have encountered since dealing with this company. This company has some of the worst customer service I have ever come across on any level of business, truly terrible is an understatement. Do not bring your business to this company. Do not take your truck to this shop. Do not trust your safety with this company.
