As per usual I was in the Yonge and Eglinton area with my family looking for a cool and hip place to eat. We found ourselves yet again at Coquine. It's just simply delicious there, everything from their sliders and poutine, to their full main courses are delicious.
A 2007 addition to the Toronto's bistro scene, Coquine Restaurant features innovative menus, competent service, and reasonable prices.

I love this place - it's excellent every time I go. The wine selection is good, the complementary snacks /apps are delicious and the duck confit is amazing!
The last time we went the service was excellent as well - the waiter went out of his way to make our dinner a great experience.
Popular new bistro is an oasis of affordability in a super-trendy neighbourhood. Classic French- and Italian-style fare with modern touches: cassoulet, steak frites, fritto misto, pastas and more. Moderately sized bar area with communal tables for mingling. Lunch, dinner daily. Casual. Entrees: $10-$24. AE, MC, V.
Located just south of the corner of Yonge and Eglinton, Coquine is the latest addition to the strip's trendy spots, taking the place of the old Manor Arms Pub. The resto is part Parisian bistro with dining tables and part open bar, complete with marble counter tops. Coquine offers bistro fare including steak frites, sauteéd wild mushrooms and grilled rapini, plus some pasta dishes.
