not only in my mind but in the mind of many critics. it is constantly on the top 10 list of toronto life magazine, and for good reason. be warned, it's pricey.
A few years back, my husband and I decided to eat at this restaurant. The atmosphere was nice, the food was excellent and the service was perfect. They even cleaned the crumbs off our table after each course. The only thing, it was way overpriced for dinner for two...and we didn't even order wine!
Overall good experience!
It's all relaxed elegance here, beginning with the fine selection of appetizers at Senhor Antonio Tapas and Wine Bar and continuing through the French doors to the dining room, which has polished wood floors and plum-velvet armchairs. The exquisite fish, which form the menu's basis, are flown in from the Azores and Madeira. You might have monkfish, grouper, or peixe espada (scabbard fish).... more

This is the classic definition of a great restaurant , impecable service and hospitality combined with great food in a comfortable environment . Everything is fresh and tastes amazing . if you love Fish this is home . But i havent had anything there that wasnt wonderful. Enjoy you wont regret it

The food and service were impeccable. When we arrived, the maitre'd was quick to greet up and did not make us wait. We had reservations so that likely explains why he was so quick to serve us.
