Go here for fresh bread!!
I'm not a processed food fan but if you need a dinner in a jiffy Zarky's is the place to go for a meal that you can feel good about serving your family. The prices are good and the atmosphere is great. Very clean, organized and easy to find what you're looking for.
The best part about the place is their BREAD!! I've been in in Australia for a year and fell in love with their bread - they kick Canada's butt in the bread department, but at Zarky's I have found the best bread in the neighbourhood. Yummy multi-grain, warm out of the oven, oozing with goodness bread. Give it a try, you'll understand!
Good quality food when you're in a pinch
Zarky's has a large selection of their own company-made fresh and frozen foods. Some things I'm not too crazy about, and others I really like. It's all personal preference. They do, however, have a bakery on site and they make fresh bread and buns daily. They also have $5 ready to go pizzas that they make on site. Or, you can have one made to order. Delicious! They also have a deli counter with fresh salads, and meats and also fresh items such as cabbage rolls and breaded chicken cutlets. You can also get staple items like milk, sour cream, pop, etc...

This Zarky's on Dundurn is a great spot to grab some quality food (fresh, prepared, and frozen) without having to deal with with masses that you might find at Fortino's down the street.
I personally enjoy popping into this Zarky's to whip up a quick sandwich (you know I love my sandwiches!) or one of their fresh pizzas. If you are in charge of dinner for the evening and you're running behind...

The Zarky's location on Dundurn is small and sweet.
It contains a variety of breads, meats and frozen goods, but the selection is kind of underwhelming in comparison to its other locations. However, my favourite part of this Zarky's is that you can get a pizza made in under thirty minutes. YOU get to choose the toppings! At all other Zarky's locations I've been to, they don't allow for this...
