The Yellow Canoe Café is a lunchtime cafe in Merrickville Ontario, where all the food is made fresh in our kitchen, using local ingredients wherever possible. Our goal is to deliver food that satisfies both the body and the soul, in a friendly, relaxed environment.
We're now making Apple Pie's again with fresh local Cortland apples.
Fall hours are now in effect.

Very disappointing
August 10, 2014
We were in Merrickville for Canalfest with some friends. The four of us had lunch at the Yellow Canoe because one of our friends had eaten there before and enjoyed it. This ended up being a very disappointing experience.

Lovely patio. Gluten free choices
August 09, 2014A lovely patio for lunch. Service was quick and friendly. Several gluten free and vegetarian choices to complement the pulled pork. The homemade peach pie looked delicious and the picked carrots were a surprise hit!

Always a good experience
August 08, 2014Every year, when on holidays we try to make it out to Merrickville to take in the sites and the relaxed atmosphere by the locks.
