Not worthy the price - had the driest club sandwich, "hash browns" were actually frozen potato cubes that were deep fried. Waiter was weird - gave him a $2 tip for a $15 meal and he sarcastically said "so generous". That's roughly 13% for a very average meal. Will not be returning. But they do allow you to use their power points to charge your phone which was nice.
This place is a totally solid breakfast joint. Portions were plentiful, prices were reasonable, quality was excellent and service was delightful. The ambience is really cute and noise levels were low - easy to have conversation with your table. Came around 10:30 on a Saturday morning and got seated immediately. We make a point to eat here one or two times per trip but have noticed a big difference in staff and the Portions have gotten smaller and smaller over the last two years.
This place just celebrated its 128th year on October 1 don't mess with success it is not too late !

We continue to bake at our Johnson Street location where we also produce products for our Museum Café which is located beside the gift shop in the Royal BC Museum, and for the Royal Café kiosk which is located outside of the main entrance to the Museum
