There's always something going on at Whittamore's. They make good use of all seasons that they are open. I love how close they are to the city without being in the city. One of the last family farms in the area to do that. Tons to do.
Corn maze, pumpkin picking (Oct), fruit picking in summer, substantial fruit & veggie semi-outdoor market, some baked goods etc. There's so much to do here. Thoroughly enjoyed myself. Besides, if Suri & Katie Holmes made a point to stop here, why shouldn't you? :)
One summer, as teenagers growing up in Markham, Ontario, a friend and I ventured out into the pick-your-own strawberry field at Whittamore's Farm with suntan lotion, bottled water, and buckets in hand. Good time to bond and be with your family as well as pick freshly grown strawberries, raspberries, peas, potatoes, green and yellow beans, sooooo yummy and fresh! I can't wait to go back again this month for the other fresh grown products.
This place is great for stawberry picking with the kids . Also there is a petting farm and a corn maze in the fall when you need your Halloween pumpkin.there is a little farm market if you do not want to pick with baked goods and veggies condiments and I recommend this for any family.

Starting in mid- June, we started by picking some delicious strawberries..Eat 1, put 1 in the basket!! So tasty right off the bush.
