White day sucks February 26, 2014
White day wedding will turn your wedding in to a dark day wedding

If you don't want to get ripped off and made fun of by Korean speaking employee then you shouldn't go here. That was my wedding experience, we got yelled at by the photographer, the dress selections are garbage and they are unapologetic. This place is only for Koreans, if you don't understand the language be ready for some painful and insulting language. My job was to share my experience and stop another couple going thru this and I hope I did that, if this review seems wrong then you are welcome to try them.
Thanks and stay away from dark day wedding

Never do business with Whiteday Wedding, New Westminster

A month ago, I was a Bride to-be. Whiteday Wedding located at 511 Columbia St
New Westminster BC V3L 1B2, seemed like they could offer everything I desired for my wedding day (packages on rental gowns, photography packages, and hair & makeup services.)

The bridal consultant I had dealt with guarantee great services, and seemed to have experience - this lead me to convince my Husband and I to put a deposit on the Whiteday services. The bridal consultant was reluctant on review the contract with us but more focused on taking our payment.

During my pre-wedding photos, I had an unbearable experience with hostile staff. The associates had a lack of knowledge with the bridal gowns, hidden agendas, and made assumptions and own decisions. There were a lack of hair and makeup selections to choose from which limited my choices for photos.

The dress that I had chosen was not the right fit but the Bridal Consultant reassured me that their onsite seamstress would alter to perfection. Due to the Consultants poor communication skills, I had to take the initiative to request a final fitting to ensure my wedding dress was altered correctly.

Whiteday asked my Husband to pay in full a week prior to the wedding day.

The week before the wedding, I went to Whiteday to try on my dress. It was still too big and didn't fit me. The Bridal Consultant was unapologetic, and instead of resolving the problem, she blamed me for incorrect alterations.

On the wedding day, I had waited half an hour for the Bridal Hair & Makeup Consultants to begin. They had poor time management skills and rushed through the service which sabotaged my desired look for my wedding day. They made their own decisions and did not cater to my needs.

Arriving to the Wedding Ceremony, I was surprised my three unfamiliar representatives from Whiteday Wedding. They has sent me a different photographer from what I expected (definitely less experience), and two inexperienced Bridal Assistance.

As a result to the additional Whiteday Staff, I was forced cater additional costs providing them food and beverages.

One of the Groomsman's suit button fell apart on him during the wedding- cheap quality.

During the ceremony, I walked over a lantern and it melted a small portion of the bottom wedding dress. I recognized a minor damage to the outer ruffle lining.

When we returned the dress the representatives at Whiteday Wedding threatened charge us a 50% of retail pricing of the dress. Their contract terms were in very small font and it was never even described to us during the orientation. They automatically assessed the damages as the maximum consequence with no proof how how much it would cost to repair, reluctant on providing us with the model number and brand to get our own quotation, and weren't willing to let us speak with their management/owner of the company.

We questioned their contradicting contract and unreasonable terms. The Wedding Consultants response was, "Well we'll have to change the terms now because this is not the case."

I was under the impression that this wasn't going to be resolved until my Husband and I were to meet with the Whiteday management to negotiate a reasonable cost for the repair. Without any consideration or authorization, Whiteday then response with an urgent email charging our credit card for an additional $1260.00.

Whiteday Wedding is very unprofessional, unethical and conducts illegal business practices to charge customers credit cards without consent.

As an end result Whiteday has overcharged me for the services, fraudulently charged our credit card for $1260.00, not provided us with any wedding day photos (paid in full), managed to sabotage my wedding day plans, and left me dealing with additional charges without explanation.

I would never want any Bride to-be to go through what I had to go through with Whiteday Wedding.
