Not the best hotel I have ever stayed in... First of all the hotels rooms were a bit outdated, the carpet was all sticky and the breakfast was not too good. I also found hairs on my bed. Although the location is great and the bathrooms were pretty nice.

But I would have to say that if I was to go back to Edmonton I would stay in a different hotel, even if the location is farther away.

The West Edmonton Mall Inn was not a great hotel. I stayed at the hotel with 3 others. We got a cot and it was $20 a night for a small bed that was so terribly uncomfortable, you could feel the springs. The room was okay, but the sheets were gross. This establishment has a lot of nerve charging the rates they do for a severely out-of-date hotel amenity and service they provide, their proximity to West Edmonton Mall seeming to be their only draw.
Booking over the phone, the standard $150 rate was dropped easily to $104 when I remarked at the quoted price. Once in the room I wished I'd pushed it even lower.
