We were doing a food tour of the Eastern Townships and Vignoble was on my list to check out.
We love vineyards, local farms, and ALCOHOL so it was a no brainer.
Not far off I-55/ I-10 (15 min) this country farm offers wine tastings ($4.00) as well as a an education on wine making.
We were there on a quiet summer weekday afternoon and it was just that, quiet and beautiful country.

I LOVE their port; it is called L'Archer, and has maple syrup (just a bit) in it. Very unique!

We saw a sign on the highway for a winery, so we followed the sign. We were there in few minutes. The place is funny - it's got this whole medieval theme and a function room. It's slightly tacky, but it's really cute. I didn't have high hopes for the wine, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good each of the ones were that we tried and ended up purchasing a few of them.
