Velocity Cycles Rocks!
We've heard some great things from friends about Velocity Cycles, making an impression with the Cycling Community in Langley, Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. And after a meeting the team, with confidence, decided to buy our Co-motion Primera Tandem at Velocity.
In Langley, we are recreational cyclists, local back roads, the store for groceries, along with distance touring to world class destinations. After dealing with a number of bike stores, we were made comfortable with the level of sales and service at Velocity. The staff at Velocity is exceptionally knowledgeable with the nuances of bikes and cycling; they're even setup to provide high grade professional fittings, a testament to their level of service. Travis (owner), Simon (sales), Brandon (sales), were very personable, the Tech was too; occupied on craftsmanship for a client bike... It's nice to know you can deal with people & service, old school, and not with the blank stare of a profit-driven corporation.
The newly expanded store is finalizing a renovation, articulated with possibly everything you would want in a bike store: Road, Mountain, BMX, (Tandems?) everything. There's an excellent selection of: Bikes, Gear, Accessories, Apparel, and Service! The Grand Opening is March 21...and based on what we are experiencing...The Future does Look Bright for Velocity Cycles!
Travis says he's even installing a Couch & Cappochino machine for opening day...so you can relax in style, anytime, chat with fellow cyclists, while the Pros tune your Bike...for another Epic Ride!

Amazing shop and amazing staff. Travis (owner) is always super helpful and eager to make a fair deal: Best prices in the lower mainland id say. Joey is also a great mechanic and nice guy as well.
The shop has a super laid back vibe that you don't find at other bike stores. Usually shops tend to rush you in and out, but the guys at velocity will take the time to help you out.

I am from California and I stopped by this bike shop for some advice on where to ride in the area. I got a ton of friendly help and the ride was great. They even printed me out a map and debated on what the best area was at. They said they wished I called so they could have taken me out that day.
This bike shop is also stocked with bikes of all types. Had a good selection on all types of bikes.

I only had a very short experience with this lovely shop, but I was really impressed with the amazing service I received. I will definitely be back to check out more of the shop when I am in the area.
I made a stupid mistake with my beautiful bike and busted a small piece on it. The fellow at the shop was super nice and didn't make me feel dumb. He got my bike all fixed up in a few minutes, as...
