Gorgeous exterior design, and lovely interior gathering space. I was the Tour Driver for an author event that was hosted by the Courtenay Library and nearby bookshop Laughing Oyster. The staff at the library were friendly, helpful, and (best of all) ready for us. They'd put up posters and set up chairs and were very welcoming.

I would be very careful when you take out videos at this library, they check when the containers come in, but if you check the video out at the desk, they don't check, it appears to be there policy to not check when people take out videos, so you could land up taking an empty box home if you don't check yourself.

Also there is sometimes smoking right outside the door beside the no smoking sign... more
