Great little patio right in the action of Whytes Ave. Perfect for people watching and catching some sun. Apparently under new management so hopefully my revciew will improve next visit. Stopped in at this little street cafe for a lovely Saturday afternoon lunch. Quaint and quiet with terrific people watching. Had an assorted menu serving both breakfast and lunch. Waiter was friendly, relaxed and attentive. Food was good and lots of it. I would recommend sitting up on the steps rather than on the sidewalk. Better views and a little... more
Was there recently for a friendly, yet business oriented Christmas lunch (at 1:00 pm), and though the service was adequate, the food was sub-par.
My guest had a portobello sandwich and I had a hankering for steak & eggs (which I had had there before).
Initial service was prompt and so was meal service... about 15 minutes.
