Bad Service
We got wrongfully served, but Cam; the operations manager did a good job on resolving this situation.
Fine dining beef done right
Not that big, so kinda cozy and romantic. The menu is excellent with great beef choices as their specialty. They've even got steak tartare! Prime rib was awesome and they really know how to do up a steak! Treat yourself sometime ... a bit pricey, but worth the treat.
Great place.
The restaurant downstairs is cozy, inviting and well set out. Our waiter was nicely friendly and very helpful with any questions we had. The best part - they have steak tartare which is hard to find anymore. The food is good but not outstanding.

This is the first restaurant I DEFINITELY not recommend to friends. Food and drink were under expectation and the patio waitress was not friendly at all and threw receipt at us in the end. She didn't deserve any tips since it meant for good service, we gave it anyway. However, watch the attitude.

I always have such incredibly fond memories of Trib.
Out of the various steakhouses that we've been to here in Calgary (including Hy's, Caesars, Saltlik, and Charcut), Trib is still my go-to place when you're looking for a nice night out.
I've been here for both lunch and dinner. The 'Trib Cut' Dry Aged Bone-in Rib Eye is amazing and great to share with another person. A huge chunk of meat...
