UPDATE to post below:
i have since spoken again with the manager Pam and she's offered a TOTAL REFUND for the project. I'm impressed with her turn around and have faith that in the future i could trust PH and Pam with any print job.

I've used these guys for the last 5 years, and their output and service is always top-notch and reliable for basic printing services (as I've ordered business cards, postcards and posters from them.)
