Attached to the Rideau Centre shopping mall and convention center, this 24-story hotel is in the heart of the city. All guest rooms have plush carpeting and elegant furniture. Signature "Heavenly Beds" are topped with fluffy white duvets. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide some of the best views in Ottawa (C$50 extra for rooms facing the Rideau Canal and the Parliament Buildings).

Stayed here for a night out. I originally booked through Hotels.com. Parking underground is $20 for the day. We were quickly greeted by friendly front desk staff. I was offered to upgrade to a Parliament view for $10, which I did.

I had told the front desk employee what we were celebrating, and when I came back to my room, they had left me a card and a small box of chocolates. Very thoughtful.... more

I recently stayed at this Westin for a company conference. I stayed in what they called a "Premium" room, I am not sure how it differs from a "Traditional" room. It was a large room with 2 double beds. I was happy with the room. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice and it also had a nice size TV.
