Our dinner was horrible and the price was outrageous. The only thing that was decent was the deserts. I will never go back.
From start to finish this was a wonderful experience. All four of us were wondering why we had not tried the Prune before. Every appetizer(soup, pate,smoked salmon) was a happy dance in the mouth. Every main was delicious.
Service was beyond amazing--friendly, attentive (but not too attentive) mannerly, and full of wine paring expertise. The restaurant was very busy, so would suggest...

We dine at The Prune once each summer, when we make our annual visit to the Stratford Festival, and always have a fine experience. This year we began with smoked salmon with deviled quail eggs and wonderful velvety chicken liver mousse, after the amuse bouche. I had delicious black cod in an Asian preparation and my wife enjoyed a lovely pieced of salmon, complemented by glasses of Malbec.... more
