I wanted to give this 3 stars but the front desk saved this one!

Pros:
- Nice, helpful front desk
- Awesome hot tubs on the roof
- Free morning buffet
- Gorgeous views and hotel/room
- Location is great

Cons:
- Wait staff person at buffet was very rude
- Fire alarm went off at 3am
- Parking was weird and didn't work right

I have never stayed there but have been to the restaurant (next to lobby) for lunch and dinner. This is one of those places that i had seen for years but never discovered until recently.
The restaurant is secluded with a nice upscale interior. Patio is perfect for a date or just hanging out with friends.

Located at 225 Jarvis Street The Grand Hotel & Suites is within easy walking distance of everything downtown Toronto has to offer, only a few blocks from the Eaton Center, the activities of Young Street, the Bus Tours, the Metro, lots of good restaurants and for those with gay or fetish interests, close to Toronto's Church Street gayborhood.
