Dropped into this place since it was near to my new home and my initial impression was that it was a little bit dark, but cosy (great for winter and autumn evenings). I had the Cubano sandwich at the Federal to day and it was fantastic. The servers were very friendly and the restaurant has a hip ambiance that is really good. This is a great spot for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
A little hard to find, as it is not well marked, but definitely worth seeking out. The cocktails were superb, crafted with care and a twist of uniqueness. Highly recommend the smelts on toast appetizer, don't be afraid, it's awesome and not at all "fishy". The main courses were also delicious and nicely presented. Keep up the great work!!
