We are a classic American cheeseburger joint.
We grind a custom blend of ultra premium beef multiple times daily on the premises.
Our beef is always fresh.
We cook our cheeseburgers on a flat top griddle, not on a charcoal broiler.
The Burger's Priest, near Queen and Coxwell, stands defiantly between a McDonald's and a Harvey's. It's on a mission to redeem the burger one at a time.Open for a couple of weeks now, this tiny cash-only take-out joint has already won over locals. On a recent visit there was a steady stream of customers and the cooks were kept busy flipping burgers throughout the lunch hour.To keep customers... more
Toronto's burger craze shows no sign of slowing down, and it's largely thanks to these guys, whose religious (get it?) following comes from far and wide to gorge on their classic American burgers. Using never frozen premium grade beef grilled on a flat top, bare bones toppings, and an already legendary secret menu--The Vatican features grilled cheese sandwiches instead of burger buns--the boys... more
My brother recommended Burger's Priest to my partner and I to try on our next visit to Toronto.
We sauntered down from The Beaches, and waited for the shop to open. Having already tried some food a few years earlier, we decided to peruse the menu online before deciding. We both went for the double bacon and cheese with fries...

Have been to the new location on the Queensway twice and enjoyed my burger and fries both times. The Priest (burger plus fried/breaded portabellos stuffed with cheese) is a little too good lol. Consumed in record time. Fries are fry-truck style and I love them. I understand the approach to making their burgers is simplified/honest ingredients and they do have... more
We loved everything about this experience. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat... though I am not Catholic I still loved the references to the church. The place was so clean and someone was constantly walking around cleaning up once people would leave. The burger was unbelievable. So juicy and flavourful... not the healthiest option however I will be back without... more
When The Burger's Priest opened in 2010, it catapulted in popularity. Now three restaurants in, there is a cult following, because Torontonians love nothing better than overpopulating a new hot spot. Luckily, the service is quick and even if it weren't, the wait would be worth it. The griddle-smashed 4 ounce burgers can be loaded up with toppings or doubled up, easily overtaking the small white... more

Serving up the self-proclaimed “best burger in the city”, The Burger’s Priest’s claims have actually been validated by many a review. Beef is ground in-house, often mere moments before your patty hits the flat-top grill. It’s then topped with a slab of processed cheese and slid it into a plain white bun ($4.99) — kind of the anti-gourmet gourmet burger (without the...

This idyllic burger-joint will amuse you as much as it will feed your burger cravings. Themed after the bible, The Burger Priest define themselves as a 'classic American cheeseburger joint'. Don't be taken aback by the size of the restaurant because this tiny joint packs a whole lot of delicious meaty burgers. Their burger names are as interesting as the taste, with innovative names like 'The... more
