Poor Food and Service

Thai Garden has many positive reviews on our local newspapers for great food and service but from our own personal experience, the food and service is exactly the opposite. Having a large party of nine adults and two children, we made reservations a day ahead. Upon arrival we found that they had not made arrangements to have our seating area ready and we ended up waiting quite some time before we were seated. The wait just to have menus and drinking water was several minutes due to the limited number of staff and high number of patrons. Again, we had to wait just for a server to be able to take our orders. Our overall wait from the time we entered the restaurant to the time we finally seen our dishes was easily an hour and a half. If it were not for having children we would have simply left. Simply put, the dishes were borderline horrid. Equal or less than the quality of something available from a cafeteria setting, these dishes were far from authentic, far from delicious and far from being worthy to be served to the public. Thankfully there was a pizza parlour close by, we cancelled the remainder of our dishes and left, vowing never to return to such a horrible dining experience.
