get a second opinion
took in my laptop they charged me $75 to tell me it would cost $800 to replace the motherboard because it was fried went to bowen island tech shop near vancouver got it back the next day good as new $50 ( felt like tech squad tried to scam me )
very tech smart
I used to work in IT service, so I've come to know a lot of computer retailers / repair shops in town. This business staffs very technical and "brainy" people, and I was confident in the work they did. I could speak their language and they treated me with respect.
Excellent place to take your computer
I have never been to a place where they took me and my computer seriously. Last time I brought my computer to a place they didn't seem to care that I needed it for work and it got shipped off somewhere and took look like a month to fix. Needless to say that was a horrible experience unlike the one at Tech Squad which was night and day.
Anyways I brought it to Tech Squad and they didn't treat me like an idiot they were cool to deal with and I got my computer back the next day!
