From OpenTable:

Vancouver's Original Modern Italian Dining. The restaurant’s interior is warm, stylish, and comfortable with plenty of space for cocktails. The room features natural cork flooring, a not so subtle nod to Q4’s reputation for wine excellence, plus this eco-friendly choice absorbs sound naturally; no more shouting to be heard over restaurant chatter and clatter. This clubby room in Vancouver’s self-described “entertainment district” is part of the Quattro empire. With its white napkins, valet parking, and soaring ceilings it seems determined to inject some class into the downtown scene and it generally accomplishes the task. The menu is a wise take on the classics (insalata cesare, penne salsicce) that ensures the kitchen never leaves its comfort zone.... more

Busy, noisy and great food

Go for half price appetizers; otherwise way overpriced. The appetizers are brilliant, service is attentive. Meals great if a tad $$

Great lunch
January 20, 2014

Had a great lunch with the family. Grilled cheese sandwich (homemade chips were fabulous) and ham pizza/flatbread were great. Seafood linguine was delicious. Mom's spaghetti was decent although I didn't quite get the beans. Service was excellent although the place was half empty during lunch. Overall an enjoyable experience and we will be back!

Terrible Experience
December 31, 2013

I don't blame the waitress...she explained to us that she was on a trial shift and was emailed that morning to work the night shift. When we asked about the menu items she had no knowledge of any of the... more

It's "hard to pass up the pasta" at this "warm" candlelit Kitsilano Italian where other "consistently good", "straightforward" plates also make for a "nice treat"; those who find it "expensive for every day" say "online coupons" and "excellent" weeknight specials can help; P.S. there's also a newer Downtown sibling.
