It's a Friday night in St. John's and not a restaurant reservation to be found. Remembered walking by Taj Mahal today, doing the tourist thing and exploring this lovely city, and decided to give it a try. How come it wasn't packed like everything else in town? So tasty. Stuffed to the gunnels… The naan bread! The naan bread was perfect! Service was top-notch, the dining area was clean & cozy, and with no reservation on a weeknight, my sister and I were seated within five minutes.

Quite tasty Indian food in St. John's. had some naan bread, chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo and a curried lentil dish. Naan was prepared fresh in a tandoor right beside my table. The lamb was quite good and the tikka masala was very flavourful and rich. I'd skip over the lentil dish next time, but the aloo gobi that another table was enjoying looked good.
