Swiss Chalet
March 09, 2014My mom and my younger, older sister were just going to pick it up from Nanaimo they were in Mapleridge for a dance competition, they were going to pick it up today. So very sad that Swiss Chalet's closing, we live in Campbell River so we would go once in a while.

Closing down

Sad To say this north Nanaimo location, the only one in around
is closing its doors permanently Nov. 18. Apparently due to the grand oversized facility, increasing overheads, needed reno, and reduced patronage and due to local economy.
Regardless, there are hundreds of loyal patrons who will sadly miss the delicious chicken and ribs and nice/wonderful atmosphere and service. Hopefully...

Family Place
October 22, 2013Its a great place to take out the kids for a family night out. Its prices have gone up and was thinking is it cheaper to buy a Costco Chicken for a family of 4? The atmosphere is nice and inviting though.
