Apology
First -I would like to offer my sincere apologies to “ Angry”. Yes, I do remember you quite well and I apologize for the breakdown in communication that we had had with you at that busy time of the year. It is our policy that we do only 5 wedding cakes a week, and we were fully booked that upcoming week that you came in to place the order. As well, yes we were short on staff that next week, because I had staff going on holidays. People do book months in advance and there is preparation that needs to be done in the weeks before to provide our customers with a beautiful cake. We strive to please our customers as best we can and I think that has been shown in the seventeen years that we’ve been in this location as well as having won “ The Best in the Okanagan” consistently over the last years. I am extremely proud of my staff. My senior staff have been with me for 15, 12, 10, and 9 years as well as many students that have worked with me over the many years. So once again “ I’m sorry” for the breakdown in communication as we did not handle things as well as I wish we would have.

Wedding Cake Disaster
Booked my wedding cake order, made appointment to drive two hours to pay balance and finalize details. Only to be told, there is a staff shortage, we can't make your cake. No apology! No compromise. No referral. No professionalism. The baker even had the nerve to say that it was partially my fault?! Stay away from this place, they don't treat people right and they do not honour their commitments. This explains the staff shortage, probably staff issues their dealing with owner/baker.
