I live close to this restaurant so I've been eating here for years, but I recently stopped going due to declining portions. Also, I waited over an hour last time for them to serve me my udon. I had to remind them two times that I was still here waiting for my udon.
Lived in Kerrisdale so I would always drop by for a quick bite when I'm craving sushi. The price is average. (Among one of the cheaper ones in kerrisdale). I always try to get the lunch special with chicken teriyaki and California roll because I absolutely adore their Cali rolls. They don't add mayo in the imitation crab. Great quality of food, service, and price.
I often go for sushi in Kerrisdale, and while the decor isn't as nice as Asa, and the menu isn't as expansive, they make up for it with the quality and value of their food. Their sashimi is very fresh, and they have some of the best imitation crab I've come across, and in my opinion, better salmon than Asa. For a quick, easy, cheap lunch, this place...
